Big Island Nuts is a facial skin care and general purpose skin moisturizing lotion. Excellent for spot treatment of problem areas, and hands, elbows, etc, that suffer from dryness and cracking. Big Island Nuts is also very good for scalp problems, as the nut oils feed and nurture the skin and hair follicles. We use genuine macadamia nut, kukui nut, and kamani nut oils in this lotion, along with macadamia nut butter, to give it that soft, gentle glide during application.
Big Island Nuts has a unique aroma because of the kamani oil, similar to maple syrup, and also an undertone of nut aroma. The Kamani oil is also called "Tamanu Oil" and is very healing and soothing oil to use for damaged skin.
