Please let us introduce ourselves.
We are Earl and Darlene DeGray, the "D." in D. Medicine Woman. Darlene has been an aromatherapist, herb & plant medicine advocate for over 40 years. Her focus is on the individual client with special health needs. Many of the products you see here in our booth were originally created in order to help just one individual, and worked so well, that she began to make the same product for others too.
Renee Orozco is our market partner and she brings a vast amount of knowledge of essential oils and our products, which she has used for over 14 years! She now handles the Keauhou Farmers Market for us, since all our time and energy is focused on making and getting products to the people who need them. Also, thankfully, Renee assists us in production, etc. basically, whatever and whenever needed.
Darlene still works with people one on one and designs new creations as a need arises. When she's not busy with clients, she's making, bottling & labeling, large batches of products and obtaining the “best of the best” essential oils. Earl is in charge of online sales and all IT matters. Plus, he does the shipping and receiving, and he's also a master of distillery and master lotion crafter. Earl and Darlene both do extensive product research all the time.
We make an awesome team, Earl’s strengths are Darlene’s weaknesses and vice versa!
D. Medicine Woman headquarters, aka “Farm on Big Island”, is located in a small town called Ocean View, on the Big Island of Hawaii, where we have been for over 14 yrs. You can find D. Medicine Woman products every Sat., 8-12, Keauhou Farmers Market in Keauhou. Check our website for special events we may do here in Hawaii. You can also order our amazing aromatherapy items at DMEDICINEWOMAN.COM, with no silly handling or packing fees. Booth and website prices are the same! Free ship to any HI address too! Our products are also available at Kahuku Gift and Garden (Ocean View) and Ohana Warehouse (Captain Cook), both on the Island of Hawaii.
Here at D. Medicine Woman, we strive to provide the best quality possible, therapeutic aromatherapy products at the best possible prices. We handcraft with aloha each of our items using local and sustainable ingredients as much as we can. We grow or purchase from local farmers the raw materials to distill as much essential oils and hydrosols as we possibly can ourselves. We even use all natural Big Island beeswax, obtained from local beekeepers, in all of our lotion products. We often pay more for our carefully selected ingredients, but we find it’s worth it and so do our clients.
Mahalo for choosing us, we do appreciate it, Earl and Darlene, D. Medicine Woman
